    With the introduction of the Civil Liabilities Act in 2021, the amount of compensation you can claim for whiplash injuries has changed and is now based on the length of time you suffer from your injuries. It is important to note that the below tariff ONLY applies if you were injured as a Driver or Passenger of a vehicle involved in an accident after 31 May 2021.

    It does NOT apply if you were injured on a Motorbike, Cycle or as a Pedestrian.

    It is also important to note that the Tariff only applies to whiplash or soft tissue injuries to the Neck, Back or Shoulder. Any fractures or any injuries to any other body parts such as Legs, Wrist, Knees, Hips or all other body parts will be calculated in accordance with.

    Additional Compensation

    The above figure, known as ‘general damages’ only relates to the compensation you may be able to claim for your injuries.
